Joe Romero has been a practicing as a criminal defense attorney in New Mexico since 1994. Experienced in both Federal and State criminal matters, Joe is both a trial and an appellate attorney who has defended a variety of criminal cases. Some of his more notable clients include Joey Mantelli, one of the Las Vegas, New Mexico police officer defendants in the Abe Montoya murder case; Roger Yeadon, one of two capital murder defendants accused of murdering a British Army Major traveling through New Mexico; and Benjamin Roscoe, an Albuquerque business man charged with various tax evasion and fraud charges relating to his various Albuquerque based business.
